when i see your name
and when your call came
when i see your text,
i wonder what you'll do next
when you touch my hand
i know you understand
when you look at me

wHeN yOu LeFt

Staring into the night
All alone ....
but that's alright
I Tried to be strong,
but reality was too harsh;
To love was easy,
but to leave was too hard.
Tried to explain
All those sorrow and pain;
I wanted to keep them
close to my heart...
I see you in my dreams
Every night and day,
I run to be in your loving arms
But you slowly walked away.
leaving your footsteps behind

It seemed cruel in the very suddenness of it, harsh in the abruptness of its reminder that there are no guarantees and that the next breath — the very next breath — cannot be taken for granted. Here today, gone today. Gone too soon. Jackson’s death left those of us who grew up with him groping for resolution, words of summation in a moment when words of all kinds are elusive as smoke….

We've just learned Michael Jackson has died. He was 50. Michael suffered a cardiac arrest earlier this afternoon at his Holmby Hills home and paramedics were unable to revive him. Seems that when paramedics arrived Jackson had no pulse and they never got a pulse back. A cardiologist at tells TMZ Jackson died of cardiac arrest.
Once at the hospital, the staff tried to resuscitate him but he was completely unresponsive.

The 50-year-old musical superstar died Thursday 25 June 2009, just as he was preparing for what would be a series of 50 concerts starting July 13 at London’s famed 02 arena. Jackson had been spending hours and hours toiling with a team of dancers for a performance he and his fans hoped would restore his tarnished legacy to its proper place in pop.

Harrowing leaked autopsy details show the singer was a virtual skeleton — barely eating and with only pills in his stomach at the time he died. His hips, thighs and shoulders were riddled with needle wounds — believed to be the result of injections of narcotic painkillers, given three times a day for years. And a mass of surgery scars were thought to be the legacy of at least 13 cosmetic operations!

Jackson's golden casket — crowned by a magnificent spray of red flowers, was laid for him to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood Hills. His casket was buried just a few feet away from the remains of his long-dead career. Jackson's mother is to be the temporary guardian of the singer's three children — Prince Michael Jr., 12; Paris-Michael Katherine, 11; and Prince Michael II, 7.

No joke. King of Pop is no more…

EaRtH hOuR 2009

Earth hour’ is a global initiative supported by the World Wild life Fund (WWF) to raise awareness about global warming and climate change. The World Scout Association has pledged to support this program and as such all member countries would be taking active part in this program.

This campaign started in 2007 in Australia where over two million people participated. This number increased to over fifty million in the proceeding year: and this year marks the first time the Maldives would be participating in this global celebration. The aim of this year is to seek the participation of one billion people: one billion people to vote for the Earth and against global warming.

‘Earth Hour 2009’ calls upon all lights (unless they are absolutely necessary) to be turned off from 20:30 – 21:30 hrs on the 28 of March 2009. Every switch that is turned off for this moment would be considered as a vote for Earth and a vote saying no to global warming. The basic aim of this program, besides raising awareness, is to reduce the consumption of electricity and with it the use of fossil fuels and its corresponding release of greenhouse gases.

The organizers of ‘Earth Hour 2009’ would like to see the participation of as many people as possible. Your votes would be presented to world leaders gathering at Copenhagen for the Conference on Climate Change later this year. This is your opportunity to have your voices and concerns regarding climate change heard on a global platform.

The Scout Association of Maldives in close collaboration with the Ministry of Housing, Transport and Environment is taking the lead in organizing this event in Maldives. Many programs across the country has been planned to mark the event and reach across to as many people as possible. This is an opportunity for all to take individual action in combating climate change. To make this a successful event and to show the world how much of a concern climate change is to the Maldivians, the active participation from all government sectors, individuals, NGOs, private and public sector, resorts and schools is required.

Across the world ‘’Earth Hour’ has become a time to celebrate with family and loved ones, spreading information about the issue. As such during ‘Earth Hour 2009’ a variety show has been planned at the Artificial Beach Area. The Scout Association of the Maldives strongly urges all islands to plan such an event, gathering the local community to mark this historic event. The Ministry of Home Affairs has assured the full support of all Island Offices, and the Ministry of Education has also rendered its full support on behalf of all School in Maldives for this event.

Some men and guyz flirt with women primarily to get sex. However, if you put aside that outcome and flirt just to be friendly you are opening yourself to different and much better opportunities. You may well end up with a new lover but if that doesn’t work out you could meet someone who becomes a good friend and who knows who she might introduce you to. You don’t have to douse yourself in after-shave, just take care of personal hygiene at the basic level. As like seeks like, dirty unwashed people will end up with dirty unwashed people!! (how true!!) Fine if it suits you but if you are looking for something else……Keep your options open always!
1.dont walk around a group of women: No woman wants to feel like second best. Refrain from approaching one after another in the same group. You look like a loser and the women may think you are desperate – any port in a storm Even if you are, don’t show it.

2. Instead of saying something, whisper in her ear so nobody can hear. This will make her feel special and is also a massive turn on!
3. girls NEVER ask the guy out, so DONT even expect them to.
4.Concentrate on your conversation, not getting a date at the first time you meet her. Most women want to know what kind of person they are going out with. Make an effort to get to know her before diving in for a date. this will really help.
5.Giving compliments: There is nothing more than a compliment that turns on a girl. but remember, there’s nothing worse than someone giving out a load of overblown lines. Everyone has something great about them, notice that and compliment them genuinely.

6.Your self respect: Women always fall for men who are that little bit unreachable. Don't hover or grovel or be desperate. Think of yourself as special and know what you deserve.
7.Be a good listener: girls would feel appreciated and special if you listen to them. if you think the subject is boring, you can always change the conversation, but dont interrupt.
8.Asking for phone numbers and migg adds: Flirting and meeting people is NOT about trophy hunting it is about making new connections and having fun. If you don't intend to use the number, don't ask. There’s nothing worse than giving out a phone number and not having someone call or chat. If you asked for it,
use it. There's someoen out there expecting one!

9.Dont touch! Some women have no objection to ‘touchy feely’ encounters, others are horrified by it. Respect the person until you have sussed out more about her. Touching can be a lovely flirty action, but should be confined to the arms or resting the hand just above the arms and NOT touching, until you know more. Test the personal space by moving closer, noticing the reactions then moving back a little to remove the threat. (it works...!! )

10.Dont ask personal questions: NEVER!!! and i mean never ask crazy personal questions like r u a virgin........ that makes girls feel uncomfortably and they will mostly get mad.. ..

11.Simply engage in small talk and gradually talk about more... let's just say... large things. Then once you have a good friendship, ask her out. 13. being truly yourself: It’s no point in assuming a role you think someone wants you to play because you’ll get found out sooner or later. Be proud of who you are and if you aren’t YET sure how you are at your best, you might want to do some work on it. :)

Remember flirting is a way of connecting from the heart and acknowledging someone. Be generous! Have Fun!

Sky ShOwS & mOrE......

On the 1st of December 2008, Beaming through the twilight is one of the prettiest things you'll ever see--a tight three-way conjunction of Venus, Jupiter and the crescent Moon. The lucky Maldivians have witnessed a “smiley face” that night. Apparently this won’t happen again until July 21st 2036! And there’s more. This year’s last Full Moon on December 12 in Gemini. It's going to be a Grand Cross, which means when four planets are squaring each other. This full moon falls in Gemini, so all the Mutable Signs (Virgo, Gemini, Pisces, and Sagittarius) will feel the effects strongly say some people. Once more, there sure will be a sky show…. And be sure you are out with your camera!

FlIrTiNg TiPz FoR gUrLz; -Part one-

Flirting is more than just having fun; it is an essential aspect of human interaction. It is found in all cultures and societies around the world. It is a basic instinct and part of human nature. Come to think of it, if we are not attracted to the members of the opposite sex, we will not reproduce and human species will become extinct. [HAHAHAHAHA!] Flirting, the capacity to automatically turn our actions into sexual apparatus signaling interest with the opposite sex as instinctively as mice twitch their noses and tilt their backs to draw in the object of their attention.Flirting also is ruled by a set of unwritten laws of etiquette. This will tell when, where, with whom and with what manner we should flirt. So if ever you are wondering if you can master the art of flirting, of course you can, everyone, anyone can do it….
Some girls tend to be shy and hide their opinions towards the guy she truly desires. But believe me, you got to do some flirting, you just cant stay and watch your guy date another girl. Here are some good flirting tips for ladies, girls or even teen girls. I have included teen girls because we basically start flirting during our teen years.

1. Be yourself: Everyone is different. No one has to fit into someone else’s idea of what it means to be a ‘real woman’. The only standard you need to live up to is the one you set for yourself. If you like yourself, you’ll be looking for someone who will also like you just the way you are. Be true to yourself. You will not enjoy any moment of it if you are playing somebody who you're not supposed to be, stay focused and be proud of who you are.

2. Get out there!: A lot of people are asking and even whining that they have never met anyone only to find out that they spend most of their time crouching in the sofa with a romantic movie and a pack of popcorn. Hey! Wake up, people will not just knock on your front door to meet you, you have to go out and be the one to meet them.

3. Respect: Be interesting by also being interested with them. If you want them to communicate, LISTEN! People like people who would listen to them when it's their time to talk. Remember, listening is a part of good communication.

4. Express yourself: Let them know or feel that you are interested with them. Someone has to make the first move and the simplest and safest way to do that is to SMILE! It's a nice way of telling that you are interested without being so hanky.

5. Eye contact: There should be repeated contact. Eye contact is very important; it tells that you are sincere. On your first, he will make sure that it is really him that you are flirting with. With your second, he knows it's him and is all giddy about it and on your third, he might be going over to your table now, you should express interest by introducing yourself and starting a conversation.

6. Whisper: This usually gets their attention. Believe me, it really does. Avoid shouting.

7. Don't stay in a group: If you really want to attract a guy, don’t stay in a group because no man can bear a rejection in front of a herd. Also, he may feel that he can't approach you because of your friends.

8. Be polite: If you are not interested, be polite. You can always refer him to one of the girls. At least, you can practice your confidence in meeting other people and you just met a potential friend! :D

9. Be careful with your words: Give clear signals that you are not just making fun out of it. Make sure to check your choice of words too, your flirting might sound a little sexual instead of a friendly flirting.

10. Be positive: People like to be with people who are cheerful and has a positive mindset. Feel good about yourself and everyone, and they will feel good about you.

11. Getting help from friends: This is used a lot by female groups going to parties. Although not very effective, try walking through a group of men and let one of your friends check out who is eyeing on you.

12. Your accessories: Always gives them a reason to talk to you. If you would like to meet people, you have to make sure that you have something. Wearing or bringing something that can catch their attention. Carrying something that you are interested with is a good point. The conversation can start from there.

13. Set your boundaries: Know what you want and what you don’t want. If you ever feel uncomfortable with a guy, change the situation. Move to another room, find your friends, leave the party or call your parents or guardian. It doesn’t mean you are not cool.

If you have already opened your mind to the basic tips on flirting, then you can plan where to do the flirting tips above. There are several places where you can start practicing how to flirt with guys. Great places to start flirting with guys are parties (social occasions, functions or celebrations), drinking places, learning places, workplace, participant sports / hobbies and spectator events. You can do it anywhere. Go Flirt! :P

It will never be again.....

I looked back hoping
to see him Still waiting there
but I was wrong
he too turned around
and walked away
now it was me

and only me
I looked at my cell phone

And saw his last words,
A text message;
“it’ll never be….”

Its only you..

I thought I’d write all I wanted
And spill my entire heart out
But suddenly my hand turned cold
Shivers ran through my spine
I couldn’t remember anything
I intended to write
I looked around me
It was dark and I was alone
Only the thoughts of you
Was what I remembered
It was your name
And it was only you….
